While a Drug Against War does certainly rank high for me in all of its self referential name checking, Ministry baiting, speed metal glory. It's also kind of ...obvious. Picking it would be like pick "Jesus Built My Hotrod" or "NWO" for Ministry, awesome songs, yes, but there are many more awesome songs.

Also this video had Patlabor footage in it and the Patlabor movies are the best giant fighting robot movies ever.

I was totally going to agree but then you chose one of their weaker songs and one without any Brute! artwork in the video.

IIRC, this is actually from the only album to not have a cover done by Brute! which explains why it was one of the weaker albums.

I would have gone with "Drug Against War." =)

It wouldn't suck if it was any other band. If it was Cinderella then the look would fit and the riff would be heavy. But, it's Celtic effin' Frost! They're "glam" moment was not their finest.

Plus, c'mon, that riff isn't killer. It's just a -barely- reworked version of the opening to Metallica's Seek and Destroy!

Also, Dolph Lundgren was none other than THE Master of the Universe: HE-MAN! Except, wow, that movie was a steaming pile.

Oh, he was also the first (?) actor to play the Punisher. Another steaming turd.

He played a crazy killer prophet that stabbed people with a crucifix knife (I'm not kidding) in Johnny Mnemonic. That movie wasn't a turd if only b/c it was (a) Based, mostly, on a William Gibson short story (b) Henry Rollins as a mad scientist and (c) Ice T as the leader of a group of underground hacker revolutionaries.

So, mostly, Lundgren stars in steaming piles. Expendables was no exception. I'm glad we waited to see it when it was at the $1 theater (which are now $1.99 theaters...damn inflation). So while he might be a smart guy he makes lousy decisions with regards to movies. Or he's a constant source of a steaming piles that infects everything in which he takes part.
