My initial plan was to finish up the pictures from Clay’s jam today.  Instead, I’ll be visiting one of the best friends I’ve ever had, who went into Hospice care yesterday. Obviously, I’m in no mood for cracking jokes.

I came across this video of Julien DuPont riding trials in Lyon.  I’m pretty sure that a lot of people will scream “he’s doing BMX tricks on a motorcycle!”  But the fact of the matter is, besides the trials moves, almost everything he does is something that BMX stole from skateboarding, so logically he should get a pass.  But, he probably won’t

Jake “The Ripper” Barbee is my wife’s all time favorite BMXer.  He is her favorite, in part, because when she first met him he was actually too short to sit in regular ol’ folding chair and had to climb into it like Everest.  Of course he was four then, now he’s eight and has videos.

I turned 36 5 weeks ago.  My DNA is wired to desperately want this.

Obviously a bike rack would be necessary.

Steve got a Fat Favourites up.  I’m apparently his second favorite BMX photog, but Mystic Negro is not one of his favorite websites. Hmmmm.  Anyway, if you’re wondering, the “George” who shot the pics is, in fact, me.  Much like Martika, I need no last name.  I am a little salty that they edited that one picture to take away the sky, which was awesome.

Also, anyone who’s wondering, pics from Clay’s jam will be up this weekend.  I’m still trying to make fun of all of you.

Anyone who knows me knows that I have an extreme hatred for all things Volkswagen, but I also think that Danny Mac is the most interesting street rider out there (that he’s on a trials bike is even better as people then ignore that he’s doing insanely progressive stuff and, instead, focus on the size of his wheels making Danny Macaskill kind of a litmus test for those who appreciate riding and those who are interested in fashion).  So, I’m posting this, because DM is awesome.  But I still wouldn’t buy one of the products being hawked here.
